When I went shopping, I came across an eyeshadow palette that caught my sight because of the GOLD packaging and the variation in eyeshadow colours. The brand however didn't sound fimiliar to me. I've never heard of Guylond Paris, which made it more exciting to experience with it.
Because I was in a hurry, I only swatched the bronze colour (number 9). I was immediately sold. How pigmented is that eyeshadow? I straight knew THIS PALETTE IS GOING HOME WITH ME. despite the fact I didn't swatch the other colours, little did I know they weren't as pigmented...

The first 3 colours barely have any pigmentation and tend to fade away. Number 4 is a perfect matte to blend into the crease.

6 is quite stiff, as well as 7 and 8. BUT look at number 9, holy chipoly.

How beautiful are the colours 11 and 12? Yet 13 is quite grainy.
The palette offers you 15 eyeshadows with 4 mattes ( 4, 6 , 12 , 15), 9 shimmers (1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14) and 2 metallics (9, 11).
You've got the neutral basic colours and on the other hand the more outstanding colours like the emerald (11) or the bright purple (13). That's also the reason why I loved it, I wanted to play around with the more outstanding eyeshadows.
However, when I came home, I wasn't so keen on the palette anymore.
The eyeshadows smell like make-up I used to have when I was 10 years old. They are really chalky which causes lots off fall-out. Yet the mattes ones are more pigmented than the shimmer ones, but they are quite stiff and don't blend that well.
The eyeshadow palette nor the eyeshadow colours have names. Which I found a huge dismay as I love the original names they always give to eyeshadows and I just love to know which colour I put on my eyelids (is that lame?)
I also don't like that the palette reflects everything and you can basically see every fingerprint on it.
Roundup : It's a palette that I won't grab a lot out of my make-up draw, maybe only for the mattes and the bronze colour.
Let me say I'm quite disappointed for this palette and I won't particularly jump for it.
But on the positive note : It's not tested on animals, yay!
